CEDC Launches New Tourism Support ProgramsThe Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) is pleased to announce the launch of two new funding programs to support tourism industry growth through the CEDC’s share of the Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT).
The program consists of two funding streams; one for tourism event growth support and the other supporting product development.
Young Entrepreneurs Showcase their Innovative Businesses through Summer Company at StaplesThe sixth annual Summer Company-Staples Youth Entrepreneurship Day took place today at Staples Thunder Bay. The tradeshow showcased this year’s participants of Summer Company – Ontario’s flagship youth entrepreneurship program which is administered through the Thunder Bay & District Entrepreneur Centre every summer.
City Responds to Pending Job Losses at BombardierFollowing the announcement of significant pending job losses at the local Bombardier plant, the City will continue to do everything within its power to support residents and maintain the economic stability of Thunder Bay and the region.
