Cannabis Retail Store – Public Notice Period (Until January 16, 2021) File# 1079985

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has opened a 15-day Public Notice Period for a cannabis store to be located at 570 HARBOUR EXPY UNIT 4 that has applied to the AGCO for a local license to operate the store.

The municipality and Thunder Bay residents can comment on this proposed location and the AGCO will consider comments that relate to:

• protecting public health and safety
• protecting youth and restricting their access to cannabis
• preventing illicit activities in relation to cannabis

Once the Public Notice period ends, the applicant will receive any submitted comments and will have five days to respond to the AGCO. The AGCO will then make the final decision about authorizing the retail store at 570 HARBOUR EXPY UNIT 4 THUNDER BAY, ON P7B 6P4.
