East End & Balmoral Detour

Beginning Monday, June 29, 2026, Routes 12 East End and 16 Balmoral will operate on detour due to the City's Pacific Avenue bridge construction project. The detour is expected to remain in effect through late Fall 2026.

Route Changes

Route 16 Balmoral

• Regular service will continue between City Hall and Confederation College.
• On return trips, buses will transition into the East End route at Balmoral Avenue & Dease Street rather than returning directly to City Hall.

Route 12 East End

• Buses will operate on a revised route using Main Street and Fort William Road to access the East End.
• Customers may experience slightly longer travel times during construction.

Route 16 Balmoral

Temporary Stop Relocation

The stop at McPherson St. & Connolly St. has been temporarily relocated to Pacific Avenue, just before the McPherson Street intersection beside the church.

Additional temporary stops have also been added along Fort William Road to help maintain service during the detour.
