Section of John Street to close for watermain repair

A section of John Street will close on Tuesday, August 27 to allow for repairs to a watermain break.

John Street will be closed in both directions between Secord Street and Algoma Street beginning at 6am on Tuesday.

Access to the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot remains available via Memorial Avenue and Queen Street. The John Street access will be closed.

Travelers are advised to exercise caution and expect traffic delays in the area. The work is expected to continue after hours and be completed Tuesday evening.
