Section of Mapleward Road closes for rehabilitation

Mapleward Road will be closed between Oliver Road and the City’s Solid Waste & Recycling Facility starting today, Monday, Sept. 16.

The closure is necessary to allow for asphalt rehabilitation work, which includes asphalt removal, grading, and paving. The work is expected to take approximately one and a half weeks to complete. Traffic will be detoured around the work site using Gratton Road.

During this closure, the Solid Waste & Recycling Facility can be accessed from the north using John Street Road to Mapleward Road.
