Waterloo Street South to close temporarily July 29

On Tuesday, July 29 the City will conduct storm sewer repairs on Waterloo Street South including the replacement of a storm sewer catchbasin and the associated sewer lead crossing the roadway.

To facilitate this work, beginning July 29 at 8:00 am, Waterloo Street South will be closed to both northbound and southbound traffic between Arthur Street East and Begin Street East. The eastbound curb lane of Arthur Street East through the Waterloo Street South intersection will also be affected.

During this time, no through traffic will be permitted in the impacted areas. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to be cautious and to anticipate traffic delays. The closure is expected to last approximately 8 hours.
