  • Share Your Views on City’s 2018 Pop-Up Patio Pilot Project

    The City is asking residents to share their views in an online survey regarding the 2018 Pop-Up Patio Pilot, a project that allowed local businesses to build temporary, seasonal patios and seating areas using sidewalks and on-street parking spaces.

    This pilot was requested by businesses within the Business Improvement Areas (BIA) and Business Association (BA) areas who believed the establishment of pop-up patios would contribute to the attractiveness and vibrancy of the areas, attracting additional.

  • McIntyre Floodway Pedestrian/Cyclist Bridge Open House and BBQ

    ***DATE CHANGE - The Open House will now be held on Thursday, Oct. 4.

    The City of Thunder Bay is hosting a Public Open House about the new proposed pedestrian and cyclist bridge over the McIntyre Floodway. The Open House will feature information about the project, concept plans, and an opportunity for the community to provide feedback on the project.
