Outdoor pools and beaches set to open June 27 and June 28Splash into summer at one of the many outdoor pools and supervised beaches opening today and tomorrow courtesy of the dedicated efforts of the City of Thunder Bay’s Recreation and Culture Division who are looking forward to providing another safe and fun swim season for everyone.
“We are excited that Art Widnall Pool, Heath Park Pool and Boulevard Lake will be back in operation this summer along with Sandy Beach,” said Kim Begin, Supervisor – Aquatics, Wellness, Children and Youth.
Spend Canada Day at Marina Park AND Fort William Historical Park!This year, residents and visitors alike can celebrate Canada Day at Fort William Historical Park AND Canada Day on the Waterfront at Marina Park with both locations offering complementary events. Free activities, attractions and entertainment begin at Fort William Historical Park, from 10am-5pm, with festivities running at Marina Park from 3pm-9pm.
