On Wednesday, Oct. 9, asphalt pavement resurfacing of Dawson Road between Strand Avenue and Fassina Street will result in limited access to the County Fair Mall and businesses in the area.

The City of Thunder Bay is investing $30 million in 2019, on road and sidewalk rehabilitation, residential paving, sanitary and storm sewers, watermain repair/replacement, bridge and culvert work, and streetlight renewal.

The intersection of Simpson Street at Bethune Street, which was closed to through traffic due to a water main break, has now been reopened. 

Traffic flow has returned to normal in the affected area.
