Community Programming brings people together by fostering connection, creativity, and community pride.

From seasonal celebrations to pop-up activities, these programs are designed to be fun, inclusive, and responsive to the unique character of each neighbourhood.

In collaboration with local partners, Community Programming empowers residents to build stronger, safer, and more vibrant communities.

Together, we’re creating a city of connected communities — one neighbourhood at a time.

Pedal Forward

Thank You for Pedaling Forward with Us in 2025!

Pedal Forward is a pop-up bike program led by the City of Thunder Bay’s Culture & Events team, in partnership with Community Spokes and Active Transportation Thunder Bay. • Summer Fun Night at Vickers Park: 11 bikes repaired and rehomed in just 3 hours!
