Movie Night Under the Stars at Summer Fun Night!
Grab your chairs, blankets, and favourite snacks and join us for a magical evening at Summer Fun Night on Thursday, August 13, at Vickers Park.
6:00 PM – Pre-show programming
7:00 PM - Mamma Mia Singalong with All the DAZE Productions
8:00 PM – Outdoor screening of Mamma Mia! (2008)

Neighbour Day is a wonderful way to bring neighbours together to build a strong and caring community. It allows our us to plan and host activities to celebrate our vibrant and diverse neighbourhoods. It also provides an opportunity for neighbours to form strong relationships and helps neighbourhoods become more welcoming, safe and inclusive places to live.

Pedal Forward |

Pedal Forward is a pop-up bike program led by the City of Thunder Bay’s Culture & Events team, in partnership with Community Spokes and Active Transportation Thunder Bay. This free, drop-in initiative invites community members to repair and ride away with an upcycled bicycle — all while learning basic bike maintenance skills in a welcoming, hands-on environment. By promoting active transportation, sustainability, and social inclusion, Pedal Forward helps improve access to bikes, encourage sustainable mobility, and strengthen community connections. Catch us this 2026 Summer!

Retirement Explorers |

Retirement Explorers is a free, drop-in program for retirees who love to learn, explore new ideas, deepen their knowledge, engage in meaningful discussions, and connect with friends. In partnership with the Thunder Bay Public Library, sessions run every Friday from October to December and January to April at the Mary J.L. Black Community Hub (901 Edward Street). No registration is required—just drop in and join the fun! |

Winter FunDays |

Bundle up and join us for Winter FunDays 2026 — a season-long celebration of winter fun, creativity, and community. From skating and snowshoeing to arts, crafts, and hands-on outdoor experiences, we can’t wait to celebrate the magic of winter with you. Every Sunday, January 4 – March 15, 2026 All activities are free and open to everyone. What to ExpectWinter FunDays takes place outdoors at various locations throughout Marina Park, with indoor arts and crafts hosted weekly at the Baggage Building Arts Centre. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with your community, enjoy the outdoors, and explore both creative and recreational winter activities. |
