About Supply Management
The Supply Management Division manages all goods and services required by City departments, including acquisition, disbursement and disposal, in accordance with City of Thunder Bay By-Law 359-2024.

Bid opportunities
For ALL Bid Opportunities, the City of Thunder Bay posts and advertises on bids&tendersTM. Register/sign-up for an account with bids&tendersTM, or Log In if you already have an account. Hard copy procurement documents are no longer available at Supply Management.
By registering with bids&tendersTM you will be notified of new postings matching your vendor categories.
Group tenders
The City of Thunder Bay participates in buying group tenders, including:

- Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM)

- LAS/CANOE
Fair wage policy
On all Industrial Commercial Institutional Construction contracts with the City, every contractor and sub-contractor shall pay or provide wages, benefits and hours of work to their employees, in accordance with the City of Thunder Bay Fair Wage Policy for ICI Contracts and the Fair Wage Schedule of The Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay.
Failure to comply with the Fair Wage Policy may result in restricted ability to bid on City construction tenders.
