Clubs and Groups
The following groups meet at the Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre, located at 700 River Street. There may be a small drop-in fee to attend one of these activities or a club membership fee to join. These groups operate independent of the 55 Plus Centre.
Northwestern Ontario Senior Amateur Radio Club
New members are welcome to join, however you must be 55 plus. You do not need a radio license to join this club. Sunday from 2:00 pm to 5:00pm is a popular time to get together at the Centre. The radio club room is available to members all week during centre operating hours.
Meetings are held the second Sunday of every month at 2:00 pm at the Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre, 700 River Street.

Senior Social & Fix-It Club
Offers a full woodworking shop for men and women for a small annual membership fee. This Club provides low-cost in-shop repairs and services to older adults or people with disabilities in the City of Thunder Bay. The Fix-It Club hosts fundraising activities throughout the year to maintain their equipment or to purchase new equipment.
