Reconstruction of Balmoral Street Continues Starting TomorrowThe continuation of the Balmoral Street reconstruction begins tomorrow, starting with the section between Alloy Drive and Central Avenue, which will be closed to traffic in both directions. Detour routes will be posted to route drivers around the area of construction.

Celebrate Crossing Guard Appreciation Day 2022The City of Thunder Bay is once again celebrating the individuals that continue to make its School Crossing Guard program a success with the 17th annual Crossing Guard Appreciation Day today.
The School Crossing Guard program has been in place since 1947; currently 55 School Crossing Guards are employed at the City of Thunder Bay.

WHEREAS, deafblindness is a unique disability that incorporates the loss of both sight and hearing. Individuals who are deafblind can live full, meaningful lives as independently as possible with the right supports in place, such as intervener services; and
