Mayor Terminates City’s COVID-19 Emergency Declaration
Mayor Ken Boshcoff has issued an official declaration terminating the municipal emergency that began on April 23, 2020 in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The decision to declare the emergency terminated, in accordance with the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, was made in consultation with City Manager Norm Gale, members of the City’s Municipal Emergency Control Group (MECG) and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit’s Medical Officer of Health Dr.
