Thunder Bay and Duluth Holding a Sister Cities Chef Swap
March 9, 2018 - As part of Thunder Bay's Sister Cities relationship with Duluth, the two cities will be holding a chef swap. This means that a chef from each city will be trading restaurants for two special dining events.
Outdoor Skating Rinks Closing for the SeasonMarch 9, 2018 - Due to warmer weather conditions, many outdoor rink sites have closed for the season. Crews will attempt to maintain as many ice surfaces as possible to keep them in service through the March break.

Hate Crimes and Discriminatory Attitudes CondemnedMarch 1, 2018 - In response to media reports today of racially motivated incidents of eggs being thrown from vehicles and striking pedestrians, Acting Mayor Paul Pugh made the following comment on behalf of City Council and Administration:

Keep Fire Hydrants Clear and AccessibleMarch 1, 2018 - Thunder Bay Fire Rescue and the City's Infrastructure & Operations Department want to remind residents and businesses to do their part this winter and help keep fire hydrants clear and accessible.
Due to heavy snow accumulating this winter, city crews are working hard to remove snow from around fire hydrants.
