A new Indigenous Recognition Wall was unveiled this morning at the City’s Harry Kirk Archives and Records Centre on Vickers Street.

The Wall, mounted near the Archives’ entrance, is composed of three translucent panels depicting the Robinson-Superior Treaty of 1850, a land recognition statement, and the City’s 2010 Declaration of the Rights of Aboriginal Peoples.

The City of Thunder Bay, EarthCare Thunder Bay, Active Transportation Thunder Bay and EVANO (the Electric Vehicle Association of Northern Ontario) will be hosting an Electric Vehicle (EV) Show this Saturday, September 24, at the CLE Coliseum Building.

Those in attendance will be able to listen to and speak directly with local electric vehicle owners about their personal experience using an EV in the North.

The universally accessible playground provides a place to play for kids of all abilities

The City of Thunder Bay and Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities (Jumpstart) are proud to announce the opening of the new Jumpstart Inclusive Playground in Boulevard Lake Park. At over 1,100 m² (11,000 square feet), the Jumpstart playground is the largest inclusive play space in Thunder Bay and the second of its kind in the province.
