The City of Thunder Bay is advising the public that access to Trowbridge Falls Campground and Centennial Park will be limited on Saturday, August 23 for the Blacksheep XCM Mountain Bike Championship.

The event will see riders competing on trails throughout the parks, requiring changes to normal park access:

  • Trowbridge Falls Campground: Campground patrons will continue to have access, but may experience brief waits entering or exiting the site depending on the race schedule.
  • Centennial Park: The Muskeg Express train ride will not be in service that day, as the racecourse crosses the tracks in multiple locations.
  • Trails: Trails at both parks will be in use for the race. Visitors are asked to avoid trail use during the event.

The City thanks the public for their patience and cooperation as Thunder Bay welcomes riders and spectators for this exciting championship event.
