Stanley Cup returns to Thunder Bay

The Stanley Cup will return to Thunder Bay this year, with 2023-2024 Stanley Cup Champion Jamie Kompon, Assistant Coach of the Florida Panthers, taking part in a community event with Lord Stanley’s Cup.

The public will have the chance to view and have their photo taken with the Stanley Cup on Wednesday, September 11 from 3 – 5 pm at Port Arthur Stadium. Treasure Exchange Days coming September 7 & 8

The City’s twice-yearly Treasure Exchange Days event will take place on Sept. 7 & 8. Residents with used items in good condition that they wish to give away may leave them on the curb any time after 5 pm on Friday, Sept. 6, labelled “free.” Residents can then tour their neighbourhoods over the weekend to find treasures.
