The City of Thunder Bay is inviting talent, food vendors, event vendors, artists/ artisans and community groups to apply to participate in the City’s annual community events season.
The 2023 events season includes 19 event days, including two event series: Live on the Waterfront and Movie Nights in the Parks. All events are free to the public and collectively draw tens of thousands of attendees.
The 2023 community events season includes:
- Quest: May 12-13
- Kite Festival: June 3-4
- Canada Day on the Waterfront: July 1
- Teddy Bears Picnic: July 11
- Live on the Waterfront: July 12 to Aug. 30
- Movie Nights in Parks: Aug. 10, 17, 24, 31
- Snowday on the Waterfront: Feb. 19, 2024
Application forms are available at www.thunderbay.ca/events. Call for Talent applications are due by Tuesday, April 11 at 4:30 pm and applications from Food Vendors, Event Vendors, Community Groups and Artists/Artisans are due by Friday, April 28 at 4:30 pm. All applications must be emailed to culture@thunderbay.ca.
