August 18, 2015 - The proposed Waterfront Master Plan Update, presented to City Council in July as a first report, is now available online for an extended period to allow residents more time to provide their comments.

The update builds upon the success of the Waterfront revitalization initiatives implemented through the first phase of waterfront development at Prince Arthur's Landing. The components of the report include:

  1. Master Plan for the lands South of Pearl Street known as Pool 6 and Tug Boat Basin
  2. Recommended enhancements to the Festival Area at Prince Arthur's Landing
  3. A separate Marina Study which examines potential locations for the expansion of marina facilities on the Thunder Bay waterfront.

A Public Open House will take place on Sept. 15 at Mariner's Hall. The Final Report of the Waterfront Master Plan Update will be presented to City Council on Sept. 21.
