Taking a step forward in modernizing service delivery and enhancing customer service, the City of Thunder Bay is pleased to announce the launch of e-billing for water account customers.
Customers who opt for e-billing will receive their water bills directly via email, ensuring timely and uninterrupted delivery.
This initiative is part of the City of Thunder Bay’s ongoing Digital Strategy to expand online services.
Sign-Up for E-Billing by visiting www.thunderbay.ca/waterbilling. The 8-digit account number is required to complete the sign-up process, along with the account owner’s name exactly as it appears on the water bill.
With the ongoing Canada Post strike pausing mail delivery, The City of Thunder Bay recommends all customers sign up for water e-billing. This service offers quick and easy access to billing information while also supporting environmental sustainability by reducing paper usage.
Customers who do not sign-up for e-billing will continue to receive paper bills by mail, but should be aware that delivery delays may occur and due dates will still apply.
