May 12, 2016 - Customers city-wide are asked to continue to restrict all non-essential water use as efforts to restore water service at the Chamberlain Pumping Station are ongoing.
As repairs are completed, residents in Zone 2N, extending north of Oliver Road and west of Algoma Street, may experience low water pressure. During this time, customers may experience discoloured water. Should they observe any discolouration, customers are asked NOT to flush their lines until further notice.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is issuing a precautionary Boil Water Advisory Notice for Zone 2N (due to low water pressure) and affected customers will be notified.
Questions may be directed to Infrastructure & Operations Dispatch at 625-2195. More information will be distributed as it becomes available.
