The City of Thunder Bay is inviting residents to provide feedback on the proposed Temporary Village initiative through a public survey, open from October 24 to October 31.
The Temporary Village would offer clean, dignified and secure shelter, that addresses immediate needs while reducing tents in public spaces, improving safety, and fostering a cleaner community while long-term housing solutions are developed.
The City is considering two potential locations for the Temporary Village and is seeking public input to help determine which location would best serve the community.
Residents can participate in the survey online from October 24 to October 31. Results of the survey will inform Administration’s recommendation to City Council on the best location to implement the Temporary Village initiative.
Paper copies of the survey will also be available at all Thunder Bay Public Library branches and at the Clerk's Desk on the main floor of City Hall.
