The City of Thunder Bay’s Live on the Waterfront outdoor concert series, presented by Ontario Power Generation, is set to close out the season in dazzling fashion with the Summer Send-Off on Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28 at Marina Park. Live music starts at 6:30 pm and concludes at 9:30 pm on both nights followed by a spectacular drone light show.
For the first time in Thunder Bay, audiences will experience two unique drone light shows presented in partnership with Thunder Bay International Airports Authority. Four hundred drones will take flight over Lake Superior each night, creating breathtaking images and animations that light up the night sky. Each show will feature a different theme, making this a must-see, two-night finale. To enjoy the full experience, spectators are encouraged to gather in the Festival Area of Marina Park, which is the best location for viewing.
