The City of Thunder Bay’s Live on the Waterfront performance series, proudly presented by Ontario Power Generation, returns this Wednesday, July 31 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Marina Park. This week’s free concert features country music blended with blues, rock, folk, and pop with performances by Jessica Sole, Jonny Lee and Boy Golden.

6:00 pm: Jessica Sole, an emerging artist from Shelbourne, Ontario, will be showcasing her talent on the Live on the Waterfront stage. Her single “Fallin’ for You” has been streamed 4.5 million times. She will be performing with the support of local musicians, Back Forty, adding a unique Thunder Bay touch to her performance.

7:00 pm: Jonny Lee brings a thunderous fusion of country and rock to every stage. His single “Half the Bottle” peaked at number 33 on Sirius XM's CBC Country Station.

8:00 pm (Headliner): Boy Golden is heavily inspired by the style of J.J. Cale, with a love for old country, blues and rock ‘n’ roll. His songwriting eases the boundaries between folk, bluegrass, American and pop music. His hit song, “KD and Lunch Meat” sky-rocketed in popularity with over 2.6 million plays on Spotify alone, and his newly released album, For Eden, is already garnering significant attention on the country music scene.

The event offers an unforgettable summer evening, featuring live music and bringing the community together to celebrate Thunder Bay’s vibrant cultural and arts scene. This highly anticipated concert series has become a beloved tradition in Thunder Bay, offering a memorable way to spend a Wednesday night.

Live on the Waterfront, recognized as one of the Top 100 events by Festival & Events Ontario, continues to deliver a high-quality and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
