Neighbour Day is an opportunity to bring people together and make a positive impact in the community. The City’s fourth annual Neighbour Day will take place Saturday, Sept. 23.

Community members are encouraged to host events and activities that promote kindness, friendship and inclusivity. From building on existing traditions or starting new ones, Neighbour Day creates a stronger sense of belonging. Resources are available online at to help plan your event, including tips and tools for planning a Neighbour Day activity. To enhance the day, there will be a self-guided neighbourhood scavenger hunt and a social media contest.
