Live on the Waterfront, presented by Ontario Power Generation, returns to Marina Park this Wednesday, July 22 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm featuring New Wave Rock.

This week’s energetic show features a mix of local artists, cover bands, and award-winning out-of-town talent:

  • 6:00 pm – Lady Mullet and the Mayhem: Lady Mullet and the Mayhem is a high energy cover band bringing female musicians to the forefront. All members were born and raised in Thunder Bay and are proud to call the city home. Playing a mix of rock and pop, Lady Mullet and the Mayhem loves to see the crowd fill the dancefloor.
  • 7:00 pm – Cole Myronuk: Cole Myronuk is a local singer-songwriter that has been playing the local Thunder Bay music scene since 2017. Sometimes accompanied by his band, and sometimes just one guitar and a mic, Cole brings an Americana folk-rock vibe to the stage. 
  • 8:00 pm – The Kings: The Kings originally formed between Vancouver and Oakville. Their debut album, The Kings are Here, featured the hit song “This Beat Goes On/Switchin’ To Glide,’ which spent 23 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, earned the band a Juno Award nomination, achieved platinum album and Gold single status, and was later inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. With decades of hit songs and touring, The Kings remain a fixture in Canadian rock music. 

This outdoor concert series runs every Wednesday until August 26, followed by the Live on the Waterfront: Summer Send-Off on August 27, which will include a Drone Light Show in partnership with the Thunder Bay Airport. 

This free event brings together music lovers of all ages to celebrate local talent, artists from across Canada, and the spirit of summer in Thunder Bay. Live On the Waterfront reflects objectives in the Attraction Pillar of the City’s Smart Growth Action Plan by offering recreation and tourism attractions that celebrate Thunder Bay’s diverse population and multicultural heritage, providing opportunities for vendors, and showcasing local music, food, arts and culture.

Bring your lawn chair and enjoy an evening of live entertainment, fun by the lake and community connection at Marina Park.
