With snow in the forecast, the City of Thunder Bay is encouraging residents to continue following posted calendar parking signs to help support safe traffic flow and efficient snow-clearing.

Calendar parking restrictions no longer apply after March 31. However, the City respectfully asks residents to continue following the restrictions during continued snowfall.

Calendar parking helps everyone move safely, by keeping one side of the roadway clear of vehicles. This is important for emergency services access, as well as day-to-day traffic flow. Calendar parking also allows snowplows to clear local streets more effectively.

Residents are also reminded that priority route parking restrictions continue to apply between 2am-7am nightly through April 30.

Residents can learn more about parking regulations at www.thunderbay.ca/parking.
