  • Barbecue food and ice cream
  • Music
  • Kids activities including bouncy castles, face painting, games and more
  • Chances to win great prizes

National Public Works Week takes place from May 19 - 25, 2019, and is recognized across North America as an opportunity to educate residents about public works and celebrate the work these professionals provide.

“Public works professionals work hard to provide and maintain essential public services and are often hidden heroes. From providing clean drinking water, to building roads and bridges, removing snow on roadways or devising emergency management plans, to name a few,” said Kerri Marshall, General Manager – Infrastructure & Operations. “Public works professionals help to keep our city running and contribute to our city's quality of life. We look forward to seeing everyone at our second annual open house and showcasing the great work that these professionals do each and every day.”
