Live on the Waterfront, presented by Ontario Power Generation, returns to the Main Stage at Marina Park this Wednesday, July 15, from 6pm – 9pm, featuring Rhythm and Blues night.

This week’s high-energy performances deliver a mix of local favourites and out-of-town talent: 

  • 6:00 pm – Thirsty Monks: The sound of Thirsty Monks is unmistakable: unique and loose-limbed, while simultaneously groovy. Mixing aspects of improvisational jam band with dizzying arrangement of funk and jazz, the Thirsty Monks are quickly earning a reputation as one of the most exciting experiences to hit the stage.
  • 7:00 pm – KT and the Rhythm Aces: Formed in the spring of 2025, they come from years of musical experience in many genres. From singer-songwriter to the best keys and all the beats in between. With vocals, instruments and music passion, KT and the Rhythm Aces only want to bring joy to the people that have a passion for music.
  • 8:00 pm – Joce Reyome: Joce Reyome has been captivating audiences with their dynamic performances on stages throughout the east coast of Canada, where they now call home. Winner of the 2024 Solo/Duo Category of the International Blues Challenge, Reyome, a genuine soul, brings authenticity to their performances, turning audiences into active participants in a journey through heartbreak and humour. 

This outdoor concert series runs every Wednesday until August 26, followed by the Live on the Waterfront: Summer Send-Off on August 27, which will include a Drone Light Show in partnership with the Thunder Bay Airport. 

This free-to-attend event brings together music lovers of all ages to celebrate local talent, Canadian artists, and the spirit of summer in Thunder Bay. 

Bring your lawn chair, grab a bite from local food vendors, and enjoy an unforgettable evening of music, food, and community fun by the lake.
