With fall quickly approaching, the City will begin adjusting hours for indoor pools and closing outdoor pools, beaches, and splash pads starting with Sandy Beach at Chippewa Park and the Main Beach at Boulevard Lake this weekend on Aug 31, followed by Art Widnall and Heath pools on Sept. 1. 

Splash pads close for the season at Franklin Street Park and North End Park on Monday, Sept. 2, followed by the splash pads at County Park and Northwood Playfield on Sunday, Sept. 15. The Marina Park splash pad will close on Monday, Sept. 16.

Indoor pools will close on Monday, Sept. 2 and begin fall hours on Tuesday, Sept 3, with the exception of Volunteer Pool, which closed unexpectedly Aug. 29 and is expected to open on Sept. 4.

City staff will perform maintenance on these amenities in the off-season to prepare them for next year.

Please swim smart while spending time at an unsupervised beach.
