This City’s popular Treasure Exchange Days event returns this weekend, which is a great opportunity to exchange reusable household items, furniture, small appliances, toys, and more for free.

Residents who have good-condition items they wish to give away may leave them on the curb any time after 5 pm on Friday, Sept. 23, labelled “free.” Residents are then invited to tour their neighbourhoods on Sept. 24 and 25, to find treasures.

All items not taken must be removed from the curb by 7 pm on Sunday, Sept. 25. Solid Waste & Recycling Services will not collect these items.

Treasure Exchange Days, which began in 2014, is an Action Item in the City’s Solid Waste Management Strategy.
