July 6, 2017 - Effective July 1, 2017, there were changes to the waste collection operations, including realignment of routes. During the adjustment period, residents can expect delays in their waste collection pick-up.
"Residents are asked to be patient during this transition period," said Jason Sherband - Manager, Solid Waste & Recycling Services. "Administration and front-line staff have been working diligently to ensure that all waste is collected in a timely manner."
Residents are also reminded that is very important to place garbage and recycling at the curb after 4 pm on the day previous to collection, or before 7 am on the day of collection to avoid being missed.
