Waste Collection Date Changes for Week of Canada Day 2026

Next week’s Canada Day holiday will result in waste collection moving one day earlier in Areas 1 and 2.

If your usual collection day is Tuesday (Area 1 - blue calendar), next week’s waste collection moves to Monday, June 29. If your usual collection day is Wednesday (Area 2 - orange calendar), next week’s waste collection moves to Tuesday, June 30.  Collection days in Areas 3 and 4 remain unchanged on Thursday and Friday. 

There is no collection on Canada Day: Wednesday, July 1. The landfill site on Mapleward Road will also be closed on July 1.
