Community Wellness Programs are an extension of the Fitness and Wellness Programs offered at the Canada Games Complex. You can find your favourite classes and instructors closer to home. We run out of various schools and community centres in your neighbourhood.

To register for Community Wellness Programs please go to, or call 684-3311. Classes can be paid for by session. Alternatively, you can purchase a Fitness Punch Card and drop in to a variety of classes. 9 punches (classes) are $65.00 + HST.  

Make sure to call the Active Living Coordinator at 684-3324 prior to the first class to see about space available, possible class cancellations, or for any other information regarding Community Wellness Programs.


The below classes are open for SPRING registration. Late registrations welcomed, although we do need a minimum enrolment in order to run the classes, so register early to secure your spot. (Registration will be capped at 15) 

Zumba Toning - Saturdays 10:30-11:30am

Join Share for a fun, high energy class that will get your heart rate up and boost your cardiovascular endurance.  There will be a mix of low intensity and high intensity moves for an interval–style, calorie burning workout.  The addition of small weights provides added calorie burning, strength training and extra emphasis on toning and keeping your muscles engaged longer.

Senior Fitness - Monday/Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm

Are you 55 or over?

Join Evelyn and have fun moving through a variety of exercises designed to increase strength, balance & range of motion. With the use of resistance bands, weights and cardio, you will enjoy being challenged while working at your own pace.

Session - March 25th - May 15th (no class April 1)

Get Fit/Stay Fit for Golf - Mondays 6:00-7:00pm

Don’t wait until the season is just about to start to get yourself ready. Use the long winter months to make sure you are ready to start the golf season strong! Improve your mobility and flexibility, while increasing strength to create a better foundation which will help you play better and more consistent. This is a general fitness class that will incorporate golf movements.
