Chapples is an 18-hole, 6207 yard, Par 71 course. It is suitable for all ages and skill levels, and also offers a practice range.

A little history

Historical archives were uncovered in 2019 which included documentation of City Council meetings, as well as an original 1947 18-hole golf architectural drawing submitted by the famous architect Stanley Thompson. Original 9-hole routing was approved in 1947 and construction began that summer.

In 2019, on our 70th anniversary, a historical wall display was erected in the Chapples Pro Shop depicting the early years of our founder, Clement E. Chapple, and his relationship with Stanley Thompson. Today you can still walk the same holes that were originally enjoyed by golfers in those early years.
