Canada Post Strike – Payment and Invoice Processing Updates
Canada Post remains in a potential strike position, which has the possibility of impacting our ability to process mail and payments in a timely manner. In light of this, we want to ensure that our suppliers and vendors can continue to submit their invoices and receive payments without unnecessary delays.

City seeks nominations for 2025 Arts & Heritage Awards

Nominations are now open to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Thunder Bay’s visual and performance artists, cultural and heritage professionals, organizations, and supporters. Awards will be presented at the 2025 Arts & Heritage Awards Gala on Oct. 23 at Magnus Theatre.
Nominations are being accepted in 16 categories such as: visual art, music, film, heritage, cultural sponsor and lifetime achievement. Nominations can be submitted online at www.thunderbay.ca/ArtsAndHeritageAwards
