March 10, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay is inviting food vendors, product and service vendors, artisans, and community groups to apply to participate at the City's annual events series.
Various participation opportunities include over 22 event days, with two major single-day events and two event series. All events are free to the public and collectively draw thousands of attendees.
"¢ Kite Festival: Sunday, June 4 - approximately 4,000 attendees
"¢ Canada Day on the Waterfront: Saturday, July 1, evening - approximately 20,000 attendees
"¢ Teddy Bears Picnic: Tuesday, July 12, afternoon - approximately 4,000 attendees
"¢ Live on the Waterfront: July 12 to Aug. 31, (Wednesday evenings) - approximately 3,500 attendees/week
"¢ Movie Nights on the Waterfront: Aug. 18, 19, 25, 26, Sept. 1, 22, 29, Oct. 27 - approximately 3,000 attendees/week
"¢ Exploring Our Routes: Sunday, Oct. 15 - approximately 1,000 attendees
"¢ SnowDay on the Waterfront: Monday, Feb. 19, 2018 - approximately 10,000 attendees
The City also has an Open Call for Talent for its upcoming event season.
