Neighbour Day

JUNE 20, 2020

WHEREAS, On Saturday, June 20, 2020 the City of Thunder Bay will celebrate the inaugural Neighbour Day; and

WHEREAS, the goal of the day is for neighbours to connect and celebrate the heart and sprit of their neighbourhoods and our community; and

WHEREAS, neighbours can show appreciation for each other and perform random acts of neighbouring during this day; and

WHEREAS, neighbourhoods can personalize their celebration by decorating their neighbourhood in a specific theme, displaying art for a walking tour and sharing stories of good neighbouring.

NOW THEREFORE, I, Bill Mauro, Mayor of the City of Thunder Bay, do hereby proclaim June 20, 2020 as “Neighbour Day” in the City of Thunder Bay.
