Everyone is encouraged to share their views on the budget process and early direction of the 2025 Municipal Budget by participating in a pre-budget survey.
"We want to hear from residents and learn more about what matters most to you," said Keri Greaves, City Treasurer. "As we develop the 2025 budget, we want to know what you think of city services, where you think we should be spending money and how you would like to receive information. This is your city budget.”
The survey is the first of several upcoming initiatives aimed at enhancing public understanding and involvement in the City's budgeting process. The city is also enhancing its online resources to support ongoing public engagement.
"Over the coming months, we will be expanding the budget information available on the City's website and will be adding more resources and interactive tools to make it easier for everyone to engage with and understand the budget process,” added Greaves.

Hard copies will be available at all Thunder Bay Public Library locations and the City Hall lobby starting May 10. The survey closes May 23.
