The upcoming National Day for Truth and Reconciliation will result in date changes for waste and recycling collection during the week of Sept. 27. City residents with regular waste and recycling collection on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will receive collection one day earlier. Friday collection remains unchanged.
The following are the new waste collection dates:

There is no collection on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thursday, Sept. 30. The landfill site on Mapleward Road will also be closed on Sept. 30.
Collection day changes for this new federal statutory holiday are not reflected on the 2021/22 paper Collection Schedules (Garbage Calendars).
