Movie Nights in the Parks

The City of Thunder Bay is excited to announce the movie lineup for Movie Nights in the Parks.These will be held in different neighbourhoods each week of the event throughout the city.

This year’s three part series will be held at:

Thursday, August 19 at Kinsmen Youth Centre (Northwood)

Thursday, August 26 at West Thunder

Thursday, September 2 at Balsam Park.

This year’s films are:

  • Thursday, August 19th  –  Toy Story 4

  • Thursday, August 26th –  The Lion King (2019)

  • Thursday, September 2nd  – Trolls World Tour


Movies will begin after sunset,  around 9:00pm. Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, snacks and beverages to enjoy the movie on the big screen. It is recommended to bring warmer clothes as it gets chillier in the evening. 

Limited space is available for up to 100 attendees, please pre-register your spot. 

Complimentary popcorn will be provided to all event attendees.  

Come early to get a great seat and check out the pre-show activity provided by Studio One Dance.
