Proposed Expansion for Eye on the Street Program

A report from the Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) and City Administration will be presented to City Council on June 7 that will recommend expanding the Eye on the Street program, including installing new cameras in strategic locations, upgrading the hardware and network, and increasing the number and locations of cameras.

2021 Road Work Season has begun

The City of Thunder Bay is investing $32 million in 2021 on road and sidewalk rehabilitation, residential paving, sanitary and storm sewers, watermain repair/replacement, bridge and culvert work, and streetlight renewal.

Some Outdoor Recreational Amenities to Re-Open

Effective May 22 at 12:01 am, the Ontario government has given provincial orders to permit the reopening of some outdoor recreational amenities, with restrictions in place. This comes in response to recent improvements to province-wide vaccination rates and improvements in key public health and health care indicators.
