Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Thunder Bay Transit will be adjusting service levels until further notice to best meet fluctuating ridership levels and customer demands.

Clarification on Incomplete Vote at Council Meeting

At last night’s meeting, City Council requested a separate vote on the September 14 Committee of the Whole minutes in order to ratify the decision to fund the Thunder Bay sign from the Municipal Accommodation Tax.

Following a very successful season of outdoor dining, the Waterfront District BIA’s StrEATery & Marketplace on Red River Road closes Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Red River Road from Court Street to St. Paul Street will close in both directions from Thursday, Oct. 1 to Saturday, Oct. 3 to allow for the StrEATery’s take-down. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and follow posted detours.
