Brian Hamilton was elected in 2018 on a platform of fairness, downtown revitalization and value for tax dollars.  He is past president of the Bay & Algoma Business District where he helped establish the city’s first Buskers Festival. As a long time small business employer Hamilton brings a wealth of experience in economic growth, workforce development and fiscal stewardship. Hamilton is also a member of the Thunder Bay District Social Services Administration Board advocating for investments that support the region’s most vulnerable citizens.

Hamilton continues to be a strong voice for community safety initiatives and often volunteers at neighbourhood youth programs. He believes in robust civic engagement and transparency holding many community meetings throughout the year.

Hamilton is an avid runner and enjoys spending quality time with his family in the beautiful parks of Thunder Bay.
