Temporary closure of Pacific Avenue Overpass for inspection

The City of Thunder Bay is advising the public that the Pacific Avenue Overpass will be temporarily closed for inspection. The overpass will be closed daily during working hours and reopened each evening once work is completed for the day.
The closure will begin on Monday, August 25, with work expected to take 3 to 5 days to complete. Please expect traffic delays and use alternative routes. Access for all local businesses and residents will be maintained for the duration of the inspection.

On Tuesday, July 29 the City will conduct storm sewer repairs on Waterloo Street South including the replacement of a storm sewer catchbasin and the associated sewer lead crossing the roadway.
