City Crews Respond to Victor Street Water Main Break

June 4, 2018 - City crews have responded to a water main break that occurred last night on Victor Street.
While the water main is being repaired, residents in Mount Forest, around Mountain Road and Riverdale Road may experience low water pressure or discoloured water.
Water service will be temporarily turned off for some residents on Victor Street to facilitate repairs and those impacted will be notified.
Notification will be provided when water service is restored.

June 4, 2018 - Today has been proclaimed Weed Out Hate Day in Thunder Bay. Mayor Keith Hobbs along with children and staff from Little Lions Waldorf Daycare & Kindergarten planted sunflowers as a symbol of commitment to peace.

The City of Thunder Bay is investing $25.6 million in 2018 on a number of infrastructure improvements including road and sidewalk rehabilitation, residential paving, sanitary and storm sewer and watermain repair/replacement, bridge and culvert work, and streetlight renewal.

June 1, 2018 - The City of Thunder Bay is once again celebrating the individuals that continue to make its crossing guard program a success with the 13th annual Crossing Guard Appreciation Day today.

June 1, 2018 - The City's Curbside Battery Recycling Program returns on June 5, giving residents an opportunity to conveniently and safely recycle spent household batteries.
