Canada Post Strike – Payment and Invoice Processing Updates
Canada Post remains in a potential strike position, which has the possibility of impacting our ability to process mail and payments in a timely manner. In light of this, we want to ensure that our suppliers and vendors can continue to submit their invoices and receive payments without unnecessary delays.
Here are the key actions we recommend in the event of a strike:

Closing time for amusement rides, pools, beaches, and splash pads

As summer fades to fall, the City has begun seasonal closures starting with Art Widnall and Heath pools on Aug. 31 followed by Sandy Beach at Chippewa Park and the Main Beach at Boulevard Lake on Sept. 1. Amusement rides at Chippewa Park and the Muskeg Express at Centennial Park are closed as of today.

The City of Thunder Bay’s Live on the Waterfront outdoor concert series, presented by Ontario Power Generation, is set to close out the season in dazzling fashion with the Summer Send-Off on Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28 at Marina Park.
