The City of Thunder Bay has begun the process of developing a new municipal Culture Plan. This Plan will replace the Inspire Thunder Bay Culture Plan that was adopted by the City in 2011, and will identify current priorities, provide direction, and anticipate challenges ahead to ensure community access to, and necessary support for, the arts, culture and heritage sector to thrive in Thunder Bay over the next decade.

The City is excited to announce a public art opportunity for artists and artist-led teams.

The City of Thunder Bay has launched an online citizen satisfaction survey to monitor and understand local priorities and concern on a wide range of City services while assessing the local quality of life. Share Your Views Canada Day on the Waterfront Teddy Bears Picnic

The City invites residents to share their feedback using online surveys on Canada Day on the Waterfront, which took place July 1, and Teddy Bears Picnic, which took place July 11.
“Participant feedback helps us maintain, modify and improve the events we offer,” said Louisa Costanzo, the City’s Supervisor of Cultural Development & Events.
