The City of Thunder Bay’s third annual Neighbour Day, presented by Tbaytel, will take place Saturday, June 18. Neighbour Day provides residents the platform to reach out to their neighbours to develop positive and supportive relationships, while encouraging unity and inclusivity.

PRO Kids is excited to launch its first annual fundraising campaign, Power to Play. The campaign aims to raise $50,000 to help local children and youth access community activities when families cannot afford the fees. City’s Outdoor Skating Rinks Have Closed for the Season

Due to warmer weather conditions the City’s outdoor skating rinks have now closed, with the exception of the outdoor rink at Prince Arthur’s Landing.

Thunder Bay’s outdoor rinks typically close in early to mid-March. Warm temperatures and rain have significantly degraded ice conditions, signaling the end of the season. The mild weather is expected to continue this week.
