City seeks feedback on home energy loan program

The City of Thunder Bay invites homeowners to provide feedback on a proposed home energy improvement loan program that will guide how the City can support energy efficiency improvements and lower barriers in conducting home retrofits.

The Home Energy Improvement Loan Design Study involves an online survey, three in-person public engagement opportunities, and consultation with local financial institutions, utility providers, program administrators, and City staff.

Site recommendation proposed for Temporary Shelter Village

The City of Thunder Bay is taking decisive action to address the growing challenges of unsheltered homelessness and encampments with the launch of its Human Rights-Based Community Action Plan.

Solid Waste & Recycling Facility closed on Remembrance Day

The City’s Solid Waste & Recycling Facility will be closed on the Remembrance Day statutory holiday, Monday, Nov. 11. The Facility will reopen for regular operations on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
