The Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre celebrated 30 years of friendship and service on Sept. 29, with a Centre celebration. Events included a community BBQ with live music, speeches recognizing the 30 years of service, a bake sale, and car show held the following day.

Waste Collection Date Changes for Week of Sept. 27

The upcoming National Day for Truth and Reconciliation will result in date changes for waste and recycling collection during the week of Sept. 27. City residents with regular waste and recycling collection on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will receive collection one day earlier. Friday collection remains unchanged.

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay, at its meeting held on Monday, November 25, 2019, declared surplus, once vested, to the City’s requirements pursuant to the City’s policies, the following properties:

17th Annual Mayor’s Mulligan Raises Funds & Awareness for PRO Kids

The 17th Annual Mayor’s Mulligan Golf Tournament presented by Enbridge Gas, announced today that $21,540 was raised during this year’s event in support of PRO Kids. This bringing the total raised in the past 17 years to $214,540 for charitable organizations.
